1:45 Jump

 

As the title implies, “1:45 Jump” is a quick, light “jump tune” reminiscent of the style of the ’40’s.  As with most of the Rudy Volkmann Sextet Book charts, it’s a “head chart:” play the head, assign solos, return to the head to end.

 

Scored (as all the sextets are) for Bb Trumpet, Alto Sax, Trombone, and Rhythm Section.
