Aria Study Number One should come off as sounding a bit on the stately (or even pompous) side. It is also available (transposed) in a version for piccolo trumpet in A and organ under the title Solemn Processional Number One.

 

The mp3 “finale” playback function wouldn’t allow me to put a very slight break between the dotted eight notes and following sixteenths, but that’s how it should be performed.
