Awake Thou That Sleepest

Awake, Thou That Sleepest is a modern-sounding 2-minute anthem involving quartal harmonies and mixed meters. It is a piece I penned in the late ’70s (as I recall) during one of my forays into organized religion (text drawn from the Book of Ephesians 5:14-20)
 

The mp3 is a live recording of a performance from that period (I can’t remember any of the details, including the performing group). In the process of transferring my manuscript to the FINALE format I altered a few notes here and there, but the sound of the piece basically remains the same as the recording.
