In Den Bergen

 

In Den Bergen is a traditional German marching song. Arranged for young string orchestra, it provides solo section opportunities for all the sections except the basses, and only the cellos and first violins go into third position.

 

It’s a catchy tune with an original countermelody sure to brighten up any young school string orchestra.
