Isn't It Funny ...

 

Sort of a reflective tune, the title: “Isn’t It Funny?” is the beginning of “Isn’t it funny how things can turn out?” It just kind of grooves along in a moderate, easy swing.  Play the head, assign the rides, back to head.  A “cool” tune.

 

Scored (as all the sextets are) for Bb Trumpet, Alto Sax, Trombone, and rhythm section.
