Lightly Groovin'

 

As the title suggests, Lightly Groovin’ is a “loping” swing groove that moves along with interesting lines and melodies.  Kind of a happy, laid-back chart.

 

Scored (as all the sextets are) for Bb Trumpet, Alto Sax, Trombone, and rhythm section.
