I love this piece — it’s not particularly well-known, but it’s a truly great work. And it translates to well for other instruments.

It flows — it’s impressive-sounding, and easier to play than it sounds. And it’s a great piece for a brass choir.

The brass octet arrangement of J. S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in G, BWV 541 sells for $25.00 for the hard copy, $20.00 for the pdf’s.

The first movement of Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in G, BWV 541, is not recorded, so the mP3 is a FINALE MIDI audio extract (not a great sound, but you get the idea of what the piece sounds like).

I also have an arrangement for symphonic band on my Band page and another for double quintet on my Larger Brass works page.
