Steppin' Lightly

 

Steppin’ Lightly is a sextet arrangement of one of my big band charts (LINK). A Latin tune with a lot of three-horn interaction, this is a through-composed chart (but with openings for various horn solos. The sextet version is scored like a head-tune chart.

 

Scored for Trumpet, Clarinet or Soprano Sax, Trombone, and rhythm section.
